Hi! I am from Louisville Ky. Born in 1961. No, I do not have a horse just because I live in Kentucky. Get real!
I have been a computer programmer all my adult life. Bought a house with a small vineyard in 1990 and learned to make wine. Not commercially operated though. Now I am starting to play in real estate.
I have lots of hobbies. Growing grapes, wine making, wine drinking, amusement parks, vacations on the beach, real estate, going to movies (escapism), computer programming... did I say wine drinking? Oh, yeah... visiting historical places, eating out, cooking, watching TV (I love PBS), astronomy, history, news, and... did I say drinking wine?
Some day I hope to write a book and fill in all the blanks. |

Man, historically, is self-centered. At one time man believed that the Earth was flat and that all celestial bodies revolved around the Earth. Fly to the moon? Get out of here!
Discard the notion that we are so special that this immense universe was created just for our pleasure. It is more like a prison. We are stranded on a tiny island, seemingly with no means of escape. But, we are proving to be an inventive creature, at least by our own measure.
We could be a mistake. Our existence may be a fluke. Perhaps mere chance bought all the unique elements together that created life and evolution has created the creatures we are today. Lucky us! If Earth's evolution were given a second chance, you would likely not be here. You have a tremendously better chance of winning a lottery.
Now we struggle to understand the meaning of life and why we are here. The universe is unforgiving. A comet could wipe out Earth at any moment. Our only hope, man’s only salvation, is to have faith that there is some higher purpose for man. Life is short, so search for the meaning in your life.
Also, I hope SETI discovers intelligent, vegetarian forms of life!
