Personal background
Just a guy who got lucky and was part of Silicon Valley engineering before anyone ever said "personal" and "computer" in the same sentence. I worked for Xerox, HP , Magnuson and Tandem back when the mainframe was king. I used to fix all the electronics that are now buried in the CPU chip. Those were days of invention and progress and I was blessed to be right in the center of it all. I was there at the invention of email, fiber optics, packets, pipelines, pre fetch, instruction prediction and best of all Nonstop at Tandem. Oh yeah, I forgot that little experiment that is now the Internet. :)

Lets find some aliens! Maybe they can teach us how to get along with ourselves. Fingers crossed...
