I’m a hopeless romantic at heart. I like to listen as well as sharing. I enjoy low lighting, soft music, lite talk, whispers of joy and warm cuddling. My idea of a good time is to share myself with another and for them to reciprocate in a like manner. Sharing is an exercise in self realization and for me the truest way to one’s heart. I also enjoy soul searching through eye contact, the eyes are like the windows to the soul and can tell so much about the person within. I love a good book, fine arts, photography, poetry, special moments, a gentle touch, a warm hug, a kind word, and the glow of a tender kiss. I enjoy touch, the human touch. I enjoy touching and being touched, to me a touch is one of the basic forms of communication. The right touch can send waves of electrifying passion and grace to one’s heart, mind and soul. I also believe in total honesty, it cost nothing, it tells all, it clarifies beyond question and therefore is paramount in any relationship. Life is too short to live with or around lies and deceit. Clarity is vision and vision is the future, without all, none will exist.
I am wheelchair bound most of the time now. However that is where the bounds stop. Although physically bound in my mobility there are no bounds to mind, thought, and reason. My heart and mind are very much at freedom. I have soured to great heights, traveled around the world, sailed the great seas, seen the wonders of the world and have not gone without. I have been in the company of people great and small, around the world. I have shared in their cultures, families, customs, faiths, beliefs, lifestyles, joys, celebrations and concerns. I therefore consider myself fortunate and grateful for the opportunities as well as gifted in many ways by the experiences.
I am a very strong believer in faith and the power of prayer. That said I also believe that faith and religion are a very personal matter. I believe in sharing one’s faith if invited to do so. I do not condone or condemn based on the truths of my faith or religious beliefs. The relationship between self and God is just that “personal†and between God and believer. |
