I own a regional VOIP company in the Metro Philadelphia, as a result, we have alot of unused computer cycles at night. An avid astronomer since my youth, I decided to run BOINC and Seti on most of our corporate servers. As soon as the server load drops, the CPU is used to run Seti.
I think its fitting that a VOIP phone company is helping to crunch numbers and data for aliens who are possibly trying to call us. |
