Personal background
Hello,

I am very interested in the work that SETI is doing. I am interested in astro-physics, quantum mechanics, engineering, CERN and other related topics. I am always learning. I am forever in a search for information and new perspectives.

Respectfully,
Valerie
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am interested in SETI@home because I saw it on a documentary.I was very excited to have the opportunity to contribute no matter how small my effort is in the big picture. Considering the quantity of galaxies and planets contained in them, the statistics would lean heavily in favor of sustained intelligent life somewhere else in the universe. As someone once put it to me; I think it would be rather arrogant to assume that there was not another single instance of intelligent life in a universe so vast. I think this is very important work and it is right in line with the topics I wish most to research. I hope one day I will be able to contribute in a larger capacity.
