Steve in Iowa here. I am a long-time software developer currently working independently. I donate as many extra machine cycles to SETI@home and @Milkyway@home on my personal machines as possible.
Update: I have recently added the following projects: SETI@home Beta Test, Einstein@Home, and Asteroids@Home. Treasure Hunters Collective teams are now up on those projects as well.
My hope is that intelligent life can be found during my lifetime, and I think SETI is a worthy project towards that end.
I also have a passion for history and spend much of my free time searching for relics of Earth's past civilizations.
