Personal background
Hi,this is Alex from mainland China. As everybody knows,China is a country with a history of over 5 thousand years.According to some antient documents,it seems that ET contacts have been here throughout this land since there was bamboo slip. And that's one reason why I believe there is extraterrestrial life sharing the universe with us human.
Besides ET tracking,I like flying radio controlled airplanes very much.Though I've been into model making for over 10 years(I was born on May 25th 1983,made my first model out of cardboard when I was 7),I didn't afford to buy a real r/c trainer until the first semester in the college. And now I'm still learning to handle the model aircraft as well as possible.
Unlike most other guys,I don't enjoy myself hanging and fighting outside, most of the time I just stay at home and sit there trying out new ideas like special circuits or aircraft frame structures.Sometimes I play PC games on my new computer.Flight simulators are my favorite.I love the feeling of controlling high speed aircrafts.
AS most descriptions of ET refer to flying objects, flying makes me feel much closer to our ET friends, and this feeling is wonderful to me anyway!
I'm not difficult to befriend.Actually I have many friends from all over the world, most of which are Americans that I came across over Yahoo Messenger.I would like to share interesting topics with other SETI@home users.(Alex_rcpilot@yahoo.com.cn)

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I read about SETI@home from a Chinese magazine called The Journal of UFO Research in the summer of 2002. The writer generally introduced SETI@home to us.I first reaction was"Wow!That's a gift from the heaven for us civilian UFO searchers! What can we do without it?"I didn't have my own computer at that time,so I went out to an internet cafe and downloaded the analyser. It was REALLY good-looking screen saver, and I did enjoy watching it working.Unfortunately all those programs were deleted by the owners of those cafes before they could finish the first unit.
I think the most important role that ESTI@home is playing is an assistant that helps popularizing the knowledge of ET probing, and encouraging every person commited in the searching to go on.Because everybody has the chance to do the REAL scientific searching with his own PC.Isn't it amazing?
