Hello,
I am from the US now living in Shanghai. From Los Angeles the past 14 years and the east coast before that. Now retired, I spend most of my time on the computer. This is not the first time I have aligned with SETI. I have been involved since the 1990's. I have been away for several years as I did not know they were still around. One of my hobbies is my web site here in Shanghai where I have some live webcams. http://www.onedir.com for at least the next couple of years before they build another skyscraper to block my view.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I am running SETI@Home because I think it offers the best case for discovering life outside our planet. Since the US has given up on space travel and I doubt any other country will take up the gauntlet, I feel this is all we have left. But, since the amplitude of signals diminish with distance, it may be some time before we have any result. In any event, it will be one way. I am hoping no one is seeking us out first as we don't know if anyone else is good or evil. |
