| Hi! My name is James, but I go by Jim. I was born in Cleveland, Ohio but now live in Ashland, Ohio which is a rural community about 60 miles south of Cleveland. I am 64 years of age and recently retired having worked as a school psychologist since 1984. I just recently joined the SETI project and am thrilled to be able to participate in it. I am an American whose ancestry is Polish. I have been maried for 42 years (i.e.to the same woman), have 3 grown children wh are living oon their own, 1 grandson, and a grandaughter on the way (i.e. due to be born in July 2012). Ny wife, Bernadette and I have adopted 2 rescue greyhounds named Hunter and Lizzy. We also have a chihuahua named Pippy. I enjoy listening to music, playing the piano, enjoy reading and learning, and dabble in woodworking, stained glass, and O guage model railroading. My interests are many and varied. I am also a Permanent Deacon im my church. I enjoy ministry and service to others and have recently been asked to join the choir in my church...(we'll see how that goes and so far they haven't asked me to leave and, in fact, keep asking me to come back). |

| As stated previously, I am thrilled to be participating in the SETI project. It is an opportunity, I believe, to be a part of something much bigger and greater than one's self. Should it prove out to be that we are not alone in the universe, that would be a monumental discovery of historic implications./ |
