Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I have been running Seti@home since 1999 and hope we make a contact in my lifetime.
I beleive there is life on other planets out there somewhere but the odds of it being active at the same time could be very slim. We should keep trying and looking.
I think the Seti project is awesome. As for our own human transmitions:
Any transmitions we send on a scale large enough to possibly reach other life should be simple, numerically and scientific based, with some kind of symetrical order, yet with great effort to givet a completely unobtrusive and noninvasive impression. A signal with enough strength and power would also have to be very broad in it's directional capabiliaties. |
