Personal background |
I was born in '72 right here in God's country, what most call Wisconsin. My life changed when I saw STAR WARS in the theater at 5 years old (grin). I'm the oldest of 4 (2 brothers and the youngest is our sister). I attended UW Stout for art, I was a 45B (small arms) in the Army Nat'l Guard, got certified in SCUBA, tried skydiving, snorkeled/sailed the Great Barrier Reef, visited Australia, New York City, London, Scotland, and Ireland. I also earned my pilot's license. I ride a Yamaha VMax (been to Mt Rushmore on it), I've self-published a novel (Tale of the Tome), am an avid role-player, movie buff, and I'm fascinated by WWII. I've been an abstracter in the Title Insurance business for over a decade and I'm also a pro at procrastinating. I have a huge interest in NASA and anything that involves leaving this planet. I'm thrilled to be back using SETI@home. |
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I used to run SETI way back when but the app changed or something and my participation was put on the back burner. A friend of mine mentioned he was running it so I checked back in. It's been so long my old account was gone so I'm starting another one. I love this project and it feels great to be a part of it again. |
