Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run this because while I firmly believe there is life out there, I also firmly believe given the laws of physics as we understand them that the only way we are ever going to find said life is by electromagnetic emissions. The scale of the universe is so large that we will (barring a change in the way we understand the universe) never go meet said life.
