Personal background
Retired from RCA(when GE destroyed it). Thanks "Neutron Jack".
Worked for Microsoft for several years afterward.

I'm an armature Astronomer; having built my first telescope at the age of 14.
I've worked at “Astro-Photography” since 2007.
Star Parties are my get aways.
"The Texas Star Party" is down near the McDonald Observatory; "Okie-Tex Star Party" is near the Oklahoma/New Mexico border; and "Eldorado Star Party" is...guess.
Built an Observatory out in the middle of one of my pastures for my 11” SCT.
Also have a 127mm Refractor on an Atlas EQ-G mount.

So, now that I’m retired (from business), I stay busy with my horses, Honey Bees, and Catfish farm.

Also enjoy my Harley Davidson "Super Glide".
You know...."Born to be Wild"...Da Dum, Dump.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm definitely not a “UFO” nut case, but I truly believe we are not alone in this Galaxy. The odds are just too great, as pointed out by too many scientists.
Thanks Carl !!

Thats why I'm just one of thousands who participate(in a small way) in the SETI@HOME project.

I really envy you guys who have access to those "Super Computers" that rack up millions of points with outrages "User Averages".

I just plod along with my "Desk Top" at home.
