| I live in Maine, but am from Florida...which is where I'd rather be..lots more warm weather! I'm 20 years old, right now I am in the process of starting a home-based job so that I can spend more time with my 2 year old son Dustin who is my life. My hobbies are rather limited now that I am a "mommy" but when I have time I like outdoor activities such as camping (my summer life), swimming, family & friend parties, occasionally going to clubs, dancing, spending time with my family, or just hanging out at home watching movies..(staying out of trouble:)), traveling...anywhere but here! That's pretty much all I do these days...so now you know pretty much everything that's important about me. |

| I do believe that there is more than just us in this universe..I mean, if you think about it, how would it be possible for only humans to exist? We only take up one planet...and there are alot more...just because there hasn't been any "alien invasions" doesn't mean that they aren't out there. I'm not really sure if humans will ever discover "other" life forms or not...maybe we haven't yet because they haven't wanted us to. I feel that if they do exist, they'll let us know when they're ready. I think that there could be many benefits to the "discovery" of another life form, but also there could very well be dangers. I mean, what if they feel threatened by us and start wiping us all out because they don't like us...to be completely honest I don't like us very much, because of the horrible things that some people do. But then again, they could be even worse than us, and if that's the case we'll all be in trouble. As far as transmitting a beacon, it could be useful, and then again, it might not be such a great idea only because some people will use it for thier own selfish purposes. To be honest, I downloaded this program thinking that it was nothing but a screen saver that my son would like, but after it was installed and I started reading about it, I was amazed at what I had found...I myself have always been extremely interested and wondered about the possibility of other life out there but never knew where or how to get involved in the "search" until I found this...I think it is a great way for people like myself it get involved and help...and I personally thank whoever started this program..it has become a big part of my daily activities. |
