Personal background
BACKGROUND
I am an individual that believes that being alone in the expansive void of space is stupid. So I want to help out in proving myself either right or wrong. The truth truly is out there. I am over-educated, under-employed, over-achieving and strong-willed. I am also incredibly eager to bring about the answer to that elusive and pervasive question. I drank what? Strictly speaking, SETI means that we are listening, even if we are not understanding as of yet. I think that perhaps in conjunction to the SETI program, it would be a really good idea to send listening stations to the moon and the other surrounding bodies in motion to get an even larger array tied together. That would incredibly multiply the power of SETI and SETI@home without much true cost in the long run. In the meantime, Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun, and keep the data streams coming for analysis. I've got my program running 24/7, and so should you. Have a lovely day.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
SETI THOUGHTS
It is very important to keep searching for answers to the origins of life for ourselves and for the universe as a whole. We as a species are incredibly new to the scheme of things in this universe, and it would not only be arrogant to believe we were alone, but also foolish. The endeavor of SETI and SETI@home is to search the most likely spectrum for some of those signs of life, but again, I think it would also prove more likely that it was not in those regions of the spectrum for a burst of inter-galactic talk to appear. I have read a few profiles here and there of the users of the day, and there has been a wide-array of people, from small groups to individuals like myself and many questions still remain as to what would be the real purpose of sending out a message for other beings like ourselves to hear and understand. The obvious answer to that one part of the equation is this: Are We Alone ? Let's Find Out.
