Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Any Exploration that will get EARTH / US closer to contacting ExtraTerrestrial beings is a giant step in the right direction. And I am glad to be a part of SETI , So we can prove to the world that we are not alone. I mean a person would have to be extremely ignorant to believe that we are the only planet with life in the entire universe. That sounds ridiculous !! The proof is everywhere, every ancient civilization talks about the gods coming down from the stars. They are spoken about in hieroglyphics and all Ancient languages around the world, back to Ancient Sumerian civilization thousands of years ago.i can’t wait for the day that we make first official contact. I’m just not so sure all humans could mentally handle the truth. People can be dangerous when they are shown things they cant fully comprehend. Some tend to be afraid of what they don’t understand. Remember the “war of the worlds” radio broadcast that caused panic and chaos. . I think people should not be told everything that’s going on as far as UFOs and E.Ts. . If the public is gradually introduced little by little, over time, to the truth that we are one of many planets that are inhabited with life . That we are not alone , and that there are many races of E.Ts . Some that are good and some that do not have our best interests at heart. I have been researching astrobiologyand astronomy for many years. I am a believer that one day soon whether it’s from contact from a radio telescope,or direct physical contact. The world will know the truth
