| I am very into science fiction and science fact. I am currently researching the various theories and possabilaties of time travel. My age : 30 I have no current occupation, my field is Network Administration. I am from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I believe that extraterrestrial life exists, I have no question of that. I also believe that some of the sitings that have been documented are actually from our future, moreso than from other worlds. I believe that a beacon of some sort is a good idea, the world needs a huge makeover, the dangers of such a discovery are nothing compared to the possible gains, the fact of the matter is that we are set in our ways and beliefs, and dont really want to make such a discovery, at least of intelligent extraterrestrial life. A plant growing on another planet would not effect the world view dramatically as is needed. I run SETI at home, just to add my 2 cents and if there is such a discovery to be made via this medium, to make it happen, just perhaps a little bit faster. |
