| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes, I do believe that other life exists somewhere other than on Earth. Humans may have already discovered it it's kinda hard to say... just think many human recently just started looking for other life in about the early 60's i think... well what if there's another life form out the somewhere whom's civilization has been around long before the ones on earth and they to thought of search for ET's at this point in time they should and could be far ahead of what we had accomplished. Possible benefits and dangers you can never tell what other life forms many do they might come in peace to show us new thing and learn things from us or they could come here to take over.... the usual themes of a sci-fi movie.
2. Good question. Once again that could be good and it could be bad.
3. I run SETI@home mainly for the same reason all the others are running it. I wanna know has the government been hiding the fact of Aliens and have others like airplane pilots, NASA, and regular people that have claim to have seen them really seen them. My views about this project are good it's a chance to let people really know what's going on around them. my suggestion is if any life form be found that it be exposed to at least the SETI helper if not the whole world. |
