| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I think ET life must exist. It's just too much to expect that Earth is the only planet lucky enough to produce sentient life. I don't know how we will discover that ET life but it is one way to get our species off the planet. Until that happens we are trapped in a container we prove daily we are unable to manage for our own survival.
SETI@home is my way of contributing to this goal. I've been running it on my PCs for several years now and am fortunate that I have many PCs under my control at work that I can run it on. I do so to increase our chances of finding someone out there. Hey. Every little bit helps. |
