I am a 37 year-old Gay man currently developing a Spiritual Guidance Program for the LGBT community in Minneapolis, MN.
My favorite genre is Science Fiction/Fantasy (Speculative Fiction is my preferred term for these) because I love exploring the potential we have as human beings and where our imaginations can take us. |

I'm very excited about the possibility of encountering extraterrestrial beings, the unique ways they have adapted to their unique place in the Universe, and the potentials they have discovered for themselves. I think encountering other sentient beings could really challenge human beings to begin looking closer at the collective choices we are making at this time, and begin to think of ourselves as part of a larger family.
My greatest fear is our tendency to surrender our power to something or someone outside of ourselves would lead us to look to any beings we might encounter for solutions to our problems, rather than working together to create the world that we want for ourselves. |
