Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do think ET exists, but just don't know about others, like how we don't know about others. Yes, humans will discover them, eventually, and all I can think of are benefits because i'm not a negative type purpose. We could find cures to ailments, AIDS, Cancer, etc, then all those DC and UD projects would be useless because there is already a cure.

No, humans shouldn't transmit a beacon because we don't know where to transmit to, and we probably don't have enough power to transmit it far.

I run SETI@Home/BOINC to try to find ET. I think this project is very worthwile, and everybody should run the BOINC client.
