I am a 56 year old man from Oklahoma who works in an elementary school as custodian. I love Astronomy and all the sciences, especially space sciences.
I write poetry and short stories. I like to bird watch and hike and fish and am interested in almost anything pertaining to nature.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I am positive extraterrestrial life exists. In this vast universe it would be foolish of us to think we are the only life around. I think we will discover it and I think we will be discovered. But first we need to mature and grow up as the human race. Who would want to come and visit a civilization which wages war and is destroying itself with pollution. Why not transmit. It is harmless and may be very usefull someday. I run SETI@home because I believe in discovery and am an adventurer in spirit. I do think some day we will find that signal and I would love to be a part of that.
