I firmly believe we are not alone and that is why I signed up to help SETI go thru the millions of bits of data they've gleened from the skies overhead. My philosophy has always been if this is all there is then what's the point? I currently live in TX, but am originally from CA where I hope to move back to eventually. My hobbies range from collecting and fixing sewing machines and actually sewing on them to anything related to vampires and my first novel ("Dhampir") was published in 2001. In addition to all that, I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma that year. However after six months of chemo I have made a full recovery. Hey I want to be around when ET phones home! :)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Hmm well I think I covered this in my interests... but if there isn't other life elsewhere in this HUGE universe I will be totally surprised. I have no idea how or when we'll discover it or if I'll even see it happen in my lifetime, but I think it's important to try and reach out and see if we can find them.
