Personal background
I am currently enlisted in the air force in the computer networking, crypto & switching systems area.
I work in the MIS segment of DGS-2; DGS-2 is a ground station for U-2 weapons system.
I really enjoy learning as much as I can about computers,
particularly the area of software development. While I am still pretty new to the Unix and Linux environment I find it very interesting.
I just started running seti@home and am running it on a Sun Enterprise 450 with 4 300mhz sparc processors, a Digital Alpha Station with a 300Mhz alpha prosessor, and a couple 700Mhz x86 machines.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I definately don't think we're alone in this universe, but think it will be quite some time before we find anything. I really think we should be broadcasting the Bob & Tom show into space... this would surely attract any intelligent life.
