I'm 49 years old. I've spent most of my working life in the 'City' of London, where I've been a specialist in fixed income securities - I've run both sales and trading desks for a decade.
Now I've retired...but I've always been a keen computer hobbyist, having written my first programs way back in 1976 ! Suddenly, my skills as a VB developer coupled with my business experience has opened up a whole new career for me.
I joined the SETI program as the result of a friend, who has enjoyed our admiration and respect over the years. He it was, that invited me amd many others to join the MVPs team...and I'm pleasedv to do so. |

I truly believe that amongst the trillions of stars, that man cannot be alone in reaching this level of intelligence. I am an avid sci-fi reader, so I'm probably fairly biased anyways.
I do not think its wise to advertise ourselves...look at how the 'civilised' world conquered Africa, Asia and South America. We're potentially inviting aliens to do it to us! Now that's scary...
