| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Wow, a lot to think about. Yes I think extraterrestrial life exists. I would guess it would not be life as we know it. Only way we will discover it is if we stumble across it as we explore space and other planets. If we think our life is better than any other, we should think again. All new discoveries are dangerous until we fully learn and understand them.
I think we should transmit a beacon. Why not, it couldn't hurt. Sending music and any other peaceful information should do the trick.
I run SETI because I have always been fascinated with space, and to have the opportunity to participate in a program so important is exciting.
