| Hi to everyone, I was born in 1952, I am a retired police officer having done 29 years working in Camridgeshire, England. I was lucky enough to retire at 55 my wife Rena took early retirement and we moved to sunny Portugal, where we now live permanently just north of the Algarve where we can actually see a lot more stars without a lot of light pollution. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I run SETI@home because I actually think that somewhere out there other life exists, there is nothing much dummer than the human race so some of it must be more intelligent than us, it is just a matter of time before a signal reaches our speck of dust, it maybe next week it may be the next millenium.
No doubt there are those who scoff and say no chance at least with this project some people are trying, its like the lottery if you dont play you cant win. If we dont listen we wont hear. |
