Personal background
I am from The netherlands, Run two computers at home, and often the computers are running when i am not using it. This is the reason that i donate my unused computing time to SETI. I do believe that it is possible that there is at least some form of intelligence out there ( The drake Equastion and all), and i want to participate in finding that form of intelligent life.

Other than that, i am a system administrator, PHP developer, Database administrator, and Linux certified professional ( yes, i am a computergeek, somewhat like the staff of SET@Home ). This always were sort of my hobby's.

Other hobby's include spending my time with my girlfriend, Drumming, Listening to music, or just hanging out with some friends.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I run SETI@Home because evry little computer around the world helps processing the vast amounts of data recorded at Arecibo. Also there is a very tiny small possibility that my computer processes a Work Unit with unusual signals. And i just like to be part of a big community :-)

2. Just to find ETI.

3. I have an ATI Radeon Saphire HD 3870 GPU, wich does not work with SETI@Home even though i have the latest drivers for my GPU, and the latest Beta of BOINC, It does not work. I could say, improve that, but you guy's @ SETI@Home headquaters are already working at it.
