| I'm 25 and I'm from the Western Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, Ok. I'm half Irish, a quarter Italian, and one quarter Cherokee. I have lived in Tahlequah all my life. I think it's important to know where you come from in order to really know who you are. I'm always interested in the unknown. I hope that this project and other BOINC projects can help us understand more about where we came from, so we can better understand who we are. These experiments aren't easy or cheap but, "any experiment of interest in life will be carried out at youre own expense". Hopefully through the expense of the many great people involved in this project, true knowledge of wonderful things may be brought into the light and shared with all mankind. I thank the Seti team for this opportunity. |

| I only recently learned about computers and have now built several. I saw seti at home on PBS and wanted to use my new hobby to help crunch the mountain of data and hopefully find ET, or at least new phenomenon in space. I enjoy being part of something bigger than me and also being part of a community of likeminded people. |
