Personal background
Hi fellow earthlings!

I'm a web developer from California. I love biking, flying, coding, and the occasional video game

I have always loved astronomy and the incredible feeling of wonder that you get when you look up at the stars and realize just how small our planet is. I can't believe for a second that we are alone in such a vast universe. I believe that we are just a brief look at the right place (at the right time) away from finding other life.

As a movie junkie, I'm hoping we find ET (who can help me combine my loves of bicycles and flight), but will happily settle for some little green dudes... as long as they don't go all Independence Day on us.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I hope that there is meaning to all the crunching we do. Participating in the World Community Grid seems pretty practical too (which I hope people consider). But aliens? Doesn't get any cooler than that.
