| Personal background |
I'm from the Garden City of India, also known as the silicon valley of India - Bangalore aka Bengalooru.
I did my bachelor's course in engineering from University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, Bangalore, specializing in electronics and Communications Engineering.
I and am currently working as a senior software engineer and a database administrator for RSG Media Systems at Gurgaon, India. Prior to this I worked as a software engineer at Infosys Technologies Limited.
My passions include reading, trekking, music and philosophy. I am interested in technology and like to keep myself updated on the latest trends in it. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
I had heard about SETI for a long time, however it wasn't until later that I came to know that I could contribute to SETI's efforts.
As a person who is always interested in learning more about the universe that we live in, I think it was only natural that I wondered about space and the possibility of extraterrestrial intelligence.
I hope that we find intelligent life elsewhere, and hopefully, that life form is not too hostile... we can't assume anything can we? |
