Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. We can't be alone in the Universe. I ran SETI@home on seven PII/PIII machines 24/7 for 4.5 years in my one-bedroom, no-air-conditioner condo. Shut them all down when room temp reached 92 degrees F. Recently got a new machine, wanted to see if Nvidia's CUDA works.
2. SETI@home is a great project. Who could not want to help it succeed?
3. I'd like to see a search function for the rankings.
