Personal background
hi,

i am an 18 yr old UK a-level student, will be going to uni soon, hopefully to study computer science & electronic engineering. just thought my pc is on 27/7 so why not let seti occupy some cpu time while i'm out etc.

CURRENT PCS RUNNING SETI:
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Seti i used to think was a bit pointless, but what the heck i'll give it a go... if something does get found then great, but i won't "believe" til i see it with my own eyes. i do however like the idea of distributed processing, something which i'd like to learn more about in all honesty.

cheers,

Alex
