I'm a 52 year old engineer from Canada who grew up on a farm and hates to have anything (like computing power) going to waste. I have been fascinated by astronomy and anything space-related since I was a child. The 'seeing' from our farm in Saskatchewan was superior to anywhere else I have ever been except Muana Kea.
According to my wife I am nerdy enough to qualify for any 'nerd' community.

Have been a member for many years. The concept has always fascinated and appealed to me.
