Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why have our galactic elders not come to visit us? With their FTL travel made possible by physics unknown to us, the galaxy is their playground, and a blue planet is a nice harbor.

No FTL travel possible for even advanced beings??(Darn it, Einstein!)
No advanced beings??? Next to none?
Galaxy too dangerous for well-intentioned creatures to tread boldly?
Hellooooooooo....

And many more, endless possibilities. We need to find out if we are on our own out here or if we can (hopefully) link up.

If there is no one remotely around to comisserate with, I guess all the blue planets will be ours. Even at sub FTL snail's pace.
