| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

i run SETI@HOME because i have a small netowrk at home with plenty of processing power to spare.
I think that SETI@home is a great idea. if everyoone with a computer was willing to donate idle processing time to the project, many more findings would be possible. I enjoy helping in anything that I can do for the advancement of extraterestrial discovery.
One suggestion that I have is that I run an Nvidia 9800GT with the most updated drivers and BONIC does not recognize it. Also, I have a domain controller that is free 80% of the day and 100% at night. It runs dual Xeon 2.8GHz processors with 4GB of RAM. I would love to be able to use it to process information. |
