Personal background
Hi: I live in eastern Ontario Canada. I'm 40 years old, married, and have a 2 year old son. I am in the process of building a large observatory on a secluded piece of property. This will be a research and education center, where people of all ages will be able to come and enjoy all of the equipment and other resources. I am hoping to complete this project in the near future. This dream is slowly being realized by private donations of people, who, like myself, realize the importance of having people (especially the children) understand our place in the universe. This is to be a private, non-profit observatory, open to individuals and small groups by appointment only. If you are interested in helping this dream become a reality, please feel free to contact me via email, at, dp_d2@yahoo.ca. Thanking you in advance. Dale Robertson.

I soon hope to have a website up and running for the
Robertson Observatory.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Hi: As I mentioned in my profile, the importance of people having the chance to explore the wonders of the universe is very important. Yes, I firmly believe that the chances of life elsewhere in the universe are very likely. How could it possibly be that in all this vastness we are alone? I feel that the "SETI@HOME" project is wonderful. I plan to have a special area set up in the observatory's "warm room", where several computers will be dedicated to the SETI@HOME project, analyzing data 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
