Personal background
to get the unimportant factoid out of the way first: i live in western taxachusetts, one of the most liberal (not a good type of liberal, in my opinion) states in the union (okay, okay, so it's a commonwealth; i know that!)

now for the important stuff: i found out about seti@home through a column called The Crazy Years, specific title: Starsong on my desktop, written by one of my favorite authors, spider robinson (thanks, spider!) i am an insatiable reader, predominately science fiction and historical fiction, but will pick up almost anything just so i have something in my hands to read.

i love to both ride and work on motorcycles (personal preference: harley-davidson, but my sweetheart rides british, so who am i to argue?), and am married to a motorhead; we also collect AMC eagles.

since i love things of beauty, and like to create/work with my mind and hands, i design beaded jewelry. each piece is one of a kind, designed for the person that commissions it.

i'm a United States Navy veteran, as is the love of my life. i am proud of my service, and his. as each and every one of us has her or his opinion as to military service, past, present, and future, i shall leave it at that.

as to occupation, i am retired from the postal service, and have been for a few years now, so i guess that makes me a domestic goddess.

there's a lot more to tell, but i don't want to either bore you or cause your eyes to cross, so i'll stop right here, right now.

if you ever happen to see a magenta dakota pick 'em up, with a plate reading LEADFT, go flying past you, either honk or say "hey" on the CB; that'll be me! take care and God bless.

smiles-
ladyleadfoot!!!

keep your rubber side down and your smile side up!!!
