I'm Shauna, a twenty-one year old art student at Wagner College. I'm originally from Syracuse, NY. I consider myself a "music geek" and am into every band from Andrew Jackson Jihad to Zombina and the Skeletons. Despite being of the "artsy" type, I also love the sciences and I love learning about cosmology, evolution, genomics, etc.
I'm constantly reading and I'm a big fan of Douglas Adams, Kurt Vonnegut, Ayn Rand, Isaac Asimov, Haruki Murakami, Ray Bradbury, Richard Dawkins and Jules Verne.
I like really bad movies and learning.
I'm also a ridiculously huge fan of the band Rush. |

I always had a feeling that there had to be other life out there somewhere. The first time I read Douglas Adams, I had a real curiosity to find out what it would be like. The more I've learned about space, the more sure I've become that it is out there and the more I've wanted to do anything in my power to help contact it.
I think this project is absolutely brilliant. I like to feel that I'm helping with such an incredible project in some small way. |
