I'm 38, living near London with a few servers racked in one of the city's fastest data centers.
I run seti on any server not being hired by a customer.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1: I run SETTI@home because I pay for my servers to be on so may as well use the free CPU clicks.
2: I am interested in SETI because I feel we would be more than a little ignorant to belive we are the sole inteligent, self awayre life in the entire universe!
3: Advertise the screensaver everywhere you can, a lot of people will sign up just for the pretty graphics.
SETI@home and Astropulse are funded by grants from the National Science Foundation, NASA, and donations from SETI@home volunteers. AstroPulse is funded in part by the NSF through grant AST-0307956.
