| I am an academic in Australia, and my primary area of research is Australian history. Music is my hobby - I'm a composer and performer. I came across SETI@home and young lad when my father introduced me to the program, and I've been contributing on-and-off for some time now. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I run SETI@home for two reasons. First, it is an important scientific endeavor which deserves all the support it can get. Second, I'm no astronomer, but I can help out by giving up some of my processing time, and that's a great feeling – especially given the lack of government support for research these days. |
