66 yrs young originally from Sudbury/Copper Cliff Ontario Canada but living on Manitoulin Island for over 35 years! Retired from the local Ambulance Service here in Little Current since 1991 due to arthritis and sure miss the excitement and personal satisfaction of that work! Got into computers in the early 90's and still at it! I now help many of the older people around here with their computer problems and enjoy that very much.
Happily married for 18 years and my wife is still nursing at our local hospital. 4 children from my first marriage... 3 girls... 1 boy! All are married so I have 9 grand-kids and now 1 g-grand-kid!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My son told me about Seti@home and since I am a firm believer that ther is some type of life "out there", I was happy to join the project and share my computers.
I hope the project does prove that some other worlds/planets do have life of some type. Others could be extremely primitive compared to Earth but Earth could also be extremely primitive when compared to others!
If the project could inform it's many people sharing computer time if any type of signal is found... it would be great!
