Personal background
I am a software/systems engineer, maintaining numerous Linux and Windows based servers. I primarily program in PHP, ASP.NET, VB, C#, and Java.

Computers have been an addiction since 1989 (when I was 6). The overclocking bug first bit me in 2000 and has been unrelenting since. I've done everything from extreme air cooling O/C to Phase Change O/C...with most of my rigs being water cooled.

At present I have a couple of Intel i7 920's running at 3.8-4.2 GHz, a handful of Core2Quads, and a few CUDA cards.

I've been crunching since 1999 with S@H Classic and don't plan to stop anytime soon.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run S@H for a few reasons. Primarily because I am a space and sci-fi nut...on top of which, I hate to see spare computing cycles go to waste.

So far I think the S@H project has done rather well, I just wish I could get some AP units...or even better...my ATI video cards in on the action.
