Profile: Nathaniel McIntyre

Personal background
I have flown air craft, piloted sail boats, built homes and destroyed them.

I've made friends defeated, enemies and fought pointless battles.

Only one thing I have failed to do, find true love.

Sure I'm helping the search but, I already know they're out there. If you want a mathematical proof, look at how much area there is out there, and find the probability of it NOT egsisting.

My greatest enemy was Irrelevant Smoke, my greatest ally was my nephew.

Eclectic to the point of insanity, I am simply a man in the world, the one called Earth.

I call myself Nathaniel.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The graphics are cool and there is no better way to spend the "down time" where I'm not at the computer.

The project in general, I've been anonymous for years. I finally made a profile.

Suggestion, include the human element. Don't make it all about processing and limits... It is our innate intuitiveness and creativity that got us here, give us audio and some control over the processing. yes that will slow things down a bit but you can't program gut instinct.
