Personal background
I write fantasy and science fiction, small-time, usually in story form. If you've ever managed to hear of the land of Kritter, that's me:)

When not writing, I'm interested in bird-watching, learning to cook, linguistics, sociology and bacteria. And I love to read.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I think this is the greatest project, because it's not just about "is there life out there", it's about people giving something to that. Even if you're not an astrophysicist or a mathematician, you can still be part of this project. And simply thinking of that truly blows my mind. To think that my computer could be part of the actual finding of an ET is something wonderful. I'm a big believer in GAIA theory, you see, so the idea of humans across the globe coming together for things like this is great! We need to bring Gaia into this century, to keep our human connection alive.

I would like to get a better glimpse of what my comp is working on; LOL, "SETI@home for dummies", or something.
