Personal background
I'm one of the older ones, 64 but have been interested in "science fiction" for many years. It never ceases to amaze me that this years fiction is next years fact; and the following years old hat. Great to be a part of this project.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
In the words of a movie ( I forget the name) If we're alone out here it's a hell of a waste of space! We are not alone, and the sooner we can prove it the better it'll be. Transmission of a beacon may be effective but I sense that we need to develop other forms of communication. I think we need to think beyond the " Electro-magnetic spectrum".
3) I live in hopes!
