Lived in Chicago and southern Illinois. Moved to Denver at age 17 and have been here since. I work for a non-profit and am a full-time student working on my Master's degree.
I have a family, wife, two daughters and a granddaughter.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I am running SETI@home again because I want to have a part -- albeit a small part -- in advancing and promoting exploration of our universe.
Regarding the project, I am optimistically skeptical. I know the Drake equation says there is myriad life out there, but it's a big universe. We may be at this for a long time before we get a hit.
All the more reason to get busy.
Suggestion: Maybe more of a lack of understanding but is there a different graphic setting for laptop/LCD monitors? This displays awfully "choppy" on my laptop.
