Personal background
Apa Khabar!

I had the great joy of living and working in Kota Bharu for three and a half years in the early '80s with the Peace Corps. Looking back, it was the happiest time of my life, so many great people, amazing cultures, a time of growth and learning - so many experiences that I treasure. I am pleased to join the Malaysia group and in this small way to reconnect to a country that I love. I've had a chance to re-visit Malaysia twice since I left in late 1983. Each time I have been amazed at the change I have seen. Walking around KB, Penang, KL and JB, I felt as if I were in a dream. Some parts deeply familiar, others so different I could not believe it. Currently, I do strategic planning for the state government of Colora

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
This is one way of contributing to a great scientific experiment of our time. There are so many wonders surrounding us. It is only a matter of time before we find others in this phenomenal creation. Let us search, and wait, and hope.
