Personal background
In the animal kingdom, species are lost either by predatory extintion or food and natural resource depletion. While humans may not go extint by predatory forces(hopefully), food and natural rescources are ultimately limited. I think it is wise to seek extra-earth beings if they exist. We will never travel to them but the funny thing is, electromagnetic radiation travels fairly fast. Its not visiting them that's important, its sharing (receiving) possible highly advanced knowledge that could be of crucial help to us at the end of the day. I find no conflict in extra-earth existance and all that is revealed from I Am Who Am.
