Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Q: Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
A: If we don't search we won't find.

Q: What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
A: Benefits: philosophy and religion would change their course forever. Danger: the Earth would be invaded by the little green men.

Q: Why do you run SETI@home?
A: To show off with my friends.

Q: Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
A: I don't know what is a beacon, but don't forget to pour some sugar on it! :-)

Q: If so, what information should we send?
A: Peace & Love.

Q: What are your views about the project?
A: Distribuited computing is the future.

Q: Any suggestions?
A: A more friendly Unix client.

:-)
